TQM

TQM or Total Quality Management, is a holistic way to manage quality and process improvement in organizations. The idea of managing quality in a holistic manner is quite a powerful one as quality cannot be integrated into an organization's DNA without all the constituent elements buying into it and internalizing it.

All the major business excellence frameworks currently used, in one way or the other contain TQM concepts such as:
1. Management sponsorship, commitment and involvement
2. Employee involvement
